Cosigners

You are responsible for any and all expenses that occur due to the posting of the bond or the return to custody of the defendent.

Bond premiums and forfeitures are non-refundable, and the premium is earned in full upon the release of the defendent.

If the bond increases at arraignment, a 10% premium will be charged for the increase.

​You are responsible to make sure the defendent makes all court appearances.

​If the defendent fails to appear in court the total amount of the bond is due immediately, and you are responsible to assist in locating the individual and for paying all expenses incured for the return to custody with a minimum of $500.

If the bond is still active after 1 year, the contract must be renewed and the premium must be paid again.
Defendents

Must know court dates and attend each court appearance personally. Reminder calls are a courtesty and not an obligation.

Retain an attornety as soon as possible.

Keep regular employment.

Notify the bondsman in writing with any changes in employment, address, or phone number.

Call after each court appearance to report the outcome.

Do not leave the jurisdiction of the court without written permission from the bondsman.
NOTICE!

Bail jumping is a felony punishable by 2 years imprisonment and a $5,000 fine.

Harboring or aiding a fugitive is a felony punishable by 10 year imprisonment.

Any false information on any bond application or contract is a criminal offense.
